Currently, Dr. Belinda Anderson serves as the principal at Chester County Junior High School. Her past employment includes 7 years of teaching at East Chester Elementary in both elementary and special education. Prior to her employment at East Chester, she served Director of Admissions for 8 years at Freed-Hardeman University. Dr. Anderson has also served as the Dean of the School of Education and as professor of Education at Lambuth University from 1997-2002. From 1991-1997, she taught kindergarten at Somerville Elementary in Fayette County.

Dr. Anderson is a 1991 graduate of FHU. She graduated with a B.S. in Elementary Education with endorsements in K-3, Gifted and Special Education. She completed her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in 1993 and her doctorate in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership in 1998. She added her Administrative Licensure in 2012. Dr. Anderson has presented at several national conferences in Education and in Student Life. She has conducted teacher in-service workshops on workplace professionalism, gifted education, classroom management, leadership in teaching, as well as teacher stress and burn-out.

She is married to Tim Anderson who is a self-employed farmer. They have been married 25 years. Her son, Peyton, is in 11th grade and is 16-years old. Dr. Anderson has taught Bible class for 27 years. She has taught from the cradle role to the ladies class. She has been a speaker at ladies days and youth days in the young ladies class as well as a Freed-Hardeman Lectureship presenter. Presently, Dr. Anderson is teaching the college age ladies class on Wednesday nights.
