Several educators with the Chester County School System announced their retirements effective at the end of the current school year and were feted by their peers with receptions. At Chester County High School, those taking a well-deserved rest are Carol Sim, Harvette Croom, Annette Fitzgerald, Joe Davis, and Deborah Dunavant. Most chose modestly to not make speeches; however, Director of Schools Troy Kilzer II noted the challenges the retirees would face in the next phase of their lives. Principal Dr. Ricky Catlett made a point to let them know that they were each still a part of the CCHS family and invited them back to the school at anytime.
