I was born and raised here in Chester County.  I grew up on a farm on Needmore Road, attended local schools and am a graduate of the Chester County Class of 1976. I waited several years afterwards to attend Union University. It was there I earned my Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies in 1994 and a Masters Degree in Education in 1999. I have taught in Chester County for the past 26 years with 23 of those as a sixth grade teacher with the last three teaching 8th grade math.

My husband, Steve, and I have four grown sons and seven grandchildren.  I enjoy spending time with our large family and especially treasure time with my parents. I also enjoy reading, running errands, and helping others.
